Heimish AI is a non-profit kosher AI service built for the Jewish community. When you use our service, we collect:

• Your email address and account credentials (managed securely by our authentication provider).
• The conversations and messages you have with the AI assistant.
• Writing samples and reference images you voluntarily upload to personalize the AI's style.
• Generated images and their prompts.
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we never store your card details).
• Usage data such as credits used, web searches performed, and file uploads.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the AI chat and image generation services.
• To personalize AI responses based on your writing samples and past conversations.
• To manage your credit balance and subscription status.
• To enforce our Torah-based content moderation policies.
• To communicate with you about your account and important service updates.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on our cloud infrastructure. Conversations and personal data are associated with your account and are not shared with other users. Writing samples and reference images you upload are private to your account. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information.

4. Content Moderation

To maintain a Torah-observant environment, our AI includes automated content moderation. Messages that violate our Torah-based guidelines may be flagged, logged, and in some cases result in chat deletion. Moderation logs are visible only to administrators and are used solely to enforce community standards.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your conversations at any time from the chat interface. Deleted conversations may be retained in an administrative recovery system for moderation purposes. You may request full account data deletion by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Stripe for payment processing, Google for AI models and web search, and our cloud hosting provider. These providers have their own privacy policies. We share only the minimum data necessary to provide our services.

7. Children's Privacy

Heimish AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your conversations, delete your chats, and manage your account settings at any time within the app.

By using Heimish AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Torah-Based Content Policy

Heimish AI is designed to be a kosher, Torah-observant AI assistant. The following rules apply:

• Content that is forbidden according to Torah (Halacha) — including immorality, avodah zarah, and chillul Shabbos encouragement — is prohibited and will be blocked.
• The AI will not provide Halachic rulings (psak). For Halacha questions, please consult a qualified Rabbi.
• Conversations that violate these rules may be automatically deleted, and repeated violations may result in account restrictions.
• Administrators may review flagged conversations and inject warning messages when necessary.

3. Free Plan Limitations

The free plan includes:

• 15 free AI questions per day (automatic model).
• 2 free image generations total.
• 3 free web searches per day.

Additional usage requires purchased credits or an Unlimited subscription. Credit packages and subscription pricing are displayed on the Credit Packages page.

4. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Credit purchases are one-time charges. The Unlimited subscription is billed monthly and can be canceled at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period. As a non-profit, we strive to be fair; if you experience an issue with a purchase, please contact us.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: attempt to bypass content moderation, abuse the service with automated scripts, share your account credentials, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

AI responses may contain errors. The AI is instructed never to fabricate information, but mistakes can happen. Always verify important information independently. The AI's responses do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or Halachic advice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Credit balances and subscriptions are honored for the duration of their purchased period.

8. Limitation of Liability

Heimish AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. As a non-profit service, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
